Career Pathway Handouts
The Minnesota State Agricultural Centers of Excellence, AgCentric and the Southern Minnesota Center of Agriculture, have developed dynamic reader-friendly career pathway booklets incorporating real-time data from our Data Tools and Support Services. These booklets can be printed and shared with your students and staff. Updated versions of these handouts are typically available around August of each year.
Career Clusters
The reports below aim to offer insight into three career clusters through the lens of employer demand. This work was funded through Perkins State Leadership Funds and involved the input of partners across Minnesota State as well as a number of local businesses.
These reports itemize specific knowledge and skill needs along career pathways, highlighting the critical foundational skills that cross over between pathways. These resources are intended for use by career counselors, secondary and post-secondary faculty, and others who advise students as they consider their educational options and career choices. They will be distributed among Career and Technical Education coordinators and educators. The goal of these reports is to guide students as they make their career decisions, and also to create greater efficiencies for Perkins Consortia in creating articulation, dual credit, and credit for prior learning agreements. With these tools, Perkins Consortia can then articulate the relevance of agility skills and technical skills both within the relevant career cluster and beyond. It is expected that these reports will have broad applicability even beyond CTE curriculum.
