The RealTime Talent Strategic Partner Forum
RealTime Talent hosted its first ever strategic partner exclusive forum on April 23rd, 2021. Powered by data insights from RealTime Talent’s Director of Strategic Research, Erin Olson, leaders in education, government, workforce, business, and industry engaged in a meaningful dialogue to accelerate collective action towards aligning labor market supply and demand.
Some key takeaways emerged from this discussion, including a need for a statewide plan to respond to the critical and urgent workforce shortage we face in all industries. Given their direct impact on our state’s overall health and well-being, Healthcare and Technology industry talent shortages were lifted as priority areas for collective action.
Minnesota is ripe for a more intentional plan that supports a consistent set of employer workforce requirements while accelerating the urgent action needed. The forum closed wrestling with big questions that will impact our state’s future. As our state looks to invest America’s Job Plan funds, how will can we leverage these monies to strategically fill gaps in high wage, high shortage, and high demand occupations? In addition, how can our state’s cross-sector ecosystem use data to drive equity in education, workforce development and employment?
