By the end of the first week of April 2020, more than 350,000 Minnesotans filed for unemployment benefits.  The following week, Governor Tim Walz announced an extension of Minnesota’s stay-at-home order until May 4th.  There is no doubt that the efforts to diminish the spread of COVID-19 has affected employees, employers, and our economy.  Yet, during the week of March 29, 2020 through April 4, 2020 employers posted 17,161 new job posts in Minnesota.
